Brief Description
The World's Best Knife Sharpener - A Redux
This new sharpener is the mother of all sharpeners! It's absolutely huge compared to the original device. The rods are larger and thicker, the stand much more substantial, so large in fact that you can install both the course and fine rods at the same time.
The road to a keen edged knife, that is easily maintained, has been an expensive and protracted journey for me. Along the way, I have tried just about every type of sharpener available and after spending a great deal of money, I now own one of the country's finest collections of spent, bent and totally useless sharpeners.
This is the ultimate stand food mixer. Designed with the same engineering principals in mind as a tank, submarine or industrial diamond crusher. It is literally built to last forever and looks so good on your counter top. Think of it as a Hummer for chefs.
The Krups Novo 3000 Pump Espresso, Cappuccino, Latte Maker
Most of us love a cappuccino or latte. If you invest in a conventional espresso machine for your kitchen, you would soon discover that the whole process is a messy one and despite the fact that you are getting a fabulous fresh cup of coffee you will probably abandon the machine after a while.
This is where the Krups espresso machine comes in. It is a high-end cappuccino maker that has the ability to use both pods and fresh ground coffee.
The Green Mountain - Keurig Single-Cup Brewing System
To sum up the Keurig, it’s a beautifully made, industrial strength coffee brewer. The K-Cups come in many flavors and as you would expect from Green Mountain, are superb. Will it work for you? Well if you have a home office, don’t think, just get one (it might make you the next Microsoft). For the rest of us it only depends on how much you love coffee.
Pictures just don’t do this machine justice. It’s an ultra swish and stylish device that really does look like a brand new concept. Everyone who saw it, during testing, commented on its sleek lines and clever use of high grade plastic. If this was a beauty contest the Melitta One:One would be right up there.
When it comes to flipping steaks both the large and small Pig Tail has no real competition. My favorite tongs cannot match the easy handling and effortless ability to move and turn the steaks. Basically, you hook a steak with a simple twisting action and then can move, flip or lift it, with great confidence.
Remember the 70's? If you do, then you will probably recall the Romatof pots or clay ovens that were all the rage back then. Even if you had one, I doubt that it will have survived years of yard sales and basement cleanings and has long since gone the way of all old kitchen knickknacks. Not to worry though, clays are back, big time, and they are brighter, better and fit right in with our low fat diets and don't look out of place in our design conscious
world.
