The Faces Behind the Restaurant Review
About Us

The Restaurant Review is a new approach to keeping up-to-date on the places to eat in and around New England. The interviews are upbeat and positive, and reflects our own enjoyment of food, wine and the dining experience. We all enjoy talking with some of the region's best chefs and restaurant owners and discovering what makes them special.

The New England dining scene boasts some of the world's finest restaurants and we want to tell you about them. You will hear from the owners and executive chefs about the concepts behind their establishments, their food and wines and what makes them a place where you might like to go for a meal. Each interview ends with our trademark "Fast Review", which gives you the low down on prices, parking, contacts, etc. The program also includes one of several special segments, for example our Charity Events, Children's Selections, Food Facts, Wine News and other features.

Our restaurant listings will have all the information you will need to make an informed decision on where you would like to eat and the ambience you desire for that special occasion!

You can turn to the Restaurant Review for the latest happenings in the food and restaurant business in and around Boston. What’s new on the menu, what events are coming up and new restaurant openings are just a few of the regular items. We’d love to hear feedback from you!

     
Pia Proal
A successful Boston business women, qualified nutritionist and previously a restaurant owner, Pia brings a unique viewpoint to our programs and interviews. Pia is a dedicated supporter of women's rights. She encourages women in business and shares her entrepreneurial skill freely with others just starting out in business. Pia formulated the concept of using part of our energies to promote charitable events. She works alongside the other Restaurant Review team members to support and encourage charitable activities throughout New England.
James Ringrose

Business man, world traveler, inveterate gourmet, amateur chef and oenophile (wine lover), James is an enthusiastic supporter of New England restaurant businesses. He writes extensively on food books, restaurants, food and wine. The Restaurant Review represents a custom made opportunity for James to utilize his passions for technology, photography and writing. Originally from Europe (England), he has an eclectic taste in dining acquired during 25 years of extensive world travel and some serious high-end expense account dining (remember the dot com era?). He is a very strong advocate for consumer rights and ethics in business.
